Nokeitha has had kidney disease since she was a year old. She started dialysis in 2014 at age eight and now receives home dialysis in Montego Bay. She is a bright, spunky nine year old with a lot of personality.
Shaquille is shy and reserved and devoted to his schoolwork. He was born with kidney disease and has been on dialysis since 2011. He is now thirteen years old, and although a “man” of few words, he has a beautiful smile and peaceful personality.
Jonathon, Mr. Mischief, is the life of the peritoneal dialysis unit. Constantly in motion and always in trouble, he is a source of light and joy. At age six he is about to graduate primary school.
David has been on dialysis since age three. At age ten, he is bright, active and perpetually upbeat despite adversities. He enjoys playing and loves his kidney doctors.
BJ was born with abnormal kidneys and started dialysis in 2013 at age nine. He is now on home dialysis in Kingston and is an athletic high schooler! Football and track are his passions.
Javari is now ten years old and has been on dialysis for five years. His facial expressions and behaviour communicate his feelings. He is his mother’s gift from God and each additional year of his life is a blessing.
