Shaquille

Shaquille, originally from Manchester, was diagnosed as having chronic kidney failure because of blocked kidneys (obstructive kidney disease) at 6 weeks of age. Despite surgery, his kidney disease progressed and at age 7, he started dialysis first in Mandeville then Kingston 3 years later for haemodialysis when peritoneal dialysis proved ineffective. Shaquille and his Mom have relocated to Kingston to save his life. Shaquille has spent over a year out of school because of illness. Shaquille is now attending school regularly and catching up on the missed academic years. He is an active footballer and a fan of Manchester United. Mom’s financial challenges are huge.

Your donation enables Shaquille to receive dialysis free so Mom can afford to pay for his education and his medication.
